BBC Antiques Road Trip

Late last year the BBC visited H&H Auction Rooms to film for new series 'The Antiques Road Trip' which began on BBC2 this month.

The series, which pairs eight of Britian's best-loved antiques experts and sends them on a road trip across the United Kingdom in classic cars, aims to find out which expert can make the most return on a starting budget of £200.  Each expert will be expected to continually trade up their items so that they increase their profits every time they sell at auction.

Although competing as individuals, the experts will travel as pairs, searching for antiques to sell across the changing British landscape.  From bustling cities to costal villages they will hunt for treasure against a backdrop of beautiful views both man-made and natural.  With witty banter and a competitive spirt, this series will no doubt be unmissable.
